The Body Shop Born Lippy Lipbalm review

It has been awhile I didn't do any review on lip balm and this time I would to do one because it is special and I think I need to shout about it!  I've been using this every day, every seconds since I got it and I am loving it so much! Deniable that , The Body shop lip balm has been raving years ago by everyone but I guess I am the only one who never tried it  before. Hehe.. Damn, now I feel like a loser , but never mind back to the main topic, reviewing on this small tiny cute lip balm pot.
I believe the ones that very popular are in strawberry and chocolate flavors however I personally found out that Watermelon smells the best among them all (well, it is my opinion, my taste :P don't take it so serious.) I have sniff all of the flavors at the counter and this is the only ultimate flavour that I adore the most because I am not strawberry girl, yes I am a chocolate girl but for some reason I don't know why I don't really prefer to put chocolate lipbalm onto my lips. Maybe because... I am a weirdo?  Ahaks! I don't know, I have no excuse for it. It's just me!

This lip balm comes in a pot of 8.5g product without any brush attached with it and we need to use our own finger to apply it onto the lips. (for hygienic purpose, don't share with others, one pot is for one person. Unless if you use any specific tool for the application) . It gives a glossy finish and moisturized the cracked lips very well. The lip balm has light peach tint to it which is I prefer tinted lip balm better than a normal plain white lip balm. The product itself is not tacky or sticky and stays nice in-placed. Even my hair doesn't stick onto my lips, which is a good news for a lip balm hunter. 



Scent: Lippy Born lip balm comes in varies of flavors and the one that I am reviewing is in Watermelon flavor so it has sweet and watermelon-y scent. (Actually I don't know how to describe the flavor but it smells pleasant to me & I enjoyed it) 


Texture: It glides smoothly and silky onto the lips plus the lipbalm is creamy and a little bit oily. Not to say it is so oily but the oiliness is not annoying. It is perfect to moisturize the lips. You get what I mean? Argh!  Try lah sendiri. :P

I really loved the product and it is highly recommended to you guys (only if you like the scent because the scent do play a role to influence your mood whether to use it or not). If I need to rate this lip balm, I would give 5 over 5 because the product is absolutely great and worth to invest for getting a sexy "smoochie" lips. I am very satisfied with this lip balm and absolutely will re-purchase once it finished. Thank you for reading and see you in the next post!!! MEGA BAZAAR 2014- left 4 more days!!

It's only left 4 more days to the MEGA BAZAAR!! Woot woot!

Now I feel like screaming! I am so excited until speechless, not much to say but my excitement explains everything. It's time to shopping! 4 more days. Are you ready for the first Malaysia largest bazaar ? Are you ready for the SHOPPING SPREE?! It would happening in this weekends, at MAEPS Serdang! Remember, it is on 21st and 22nd JUNE! THIS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY! walaoweyh! I am so excited lah! According to Iffah Zaimi ( the Organizer) said that "We are focusing on visitors' convenience.  Everyone would feel comfortable to do their Eid-Ul-Fitr Shopping in air-conditioning room". The most attractive part is almost all of the vendors agreed to do a great mega sale on the event days! WOW! that's is absolutely COOOOOL! 



FACILITIES: 

1) 3000 parking spaces are prepared for the visitors. No need to park illegally like I always do :P hahaha! ops!


2) More than 10 trams / routes are prepared to make sure all of the visitors park their cars near by the entrance. No need to walk in long-distance path (well, Malaysia weather is hot, of course you want to park near by the entrance like I do. Alamak! now I sound like a typical Malaysian driver)


3) shutter bus services at KTM Serdang . If you doesn't know what is KTM Serdang, please ask google :P. hehe. No need to spend any money for paying taxi or bus services! 

4) The distance for the alleys or pathways space in the bazaar is 10 feet wide which is extremely wide to avoid packed crowd. 


5) 100 lucky draws for all the visitors! Prizes are include electronics, gadget devices, travel packages and many more! Don't ask me to list them all! 100 prizes could be anything! just wait and see the surprises! 


6) Special performances from local popular singers (celebrities) , fashion shows, coloring contest for the kids , high-tea with the celebrities and many more for the 2-day event!





So, there's no excuses for not going to the event!

Pantene Pro V Total Damage Care 10 shampoo and conditioner review

Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and conditioner review. That is what I would be doing for today, a review on a set of Pantene hair care. Pantene Total Damage Care 10 is supposed to help to prevent the 10 signs of hair damage and reformulated to neutralize excessive oxidative minerals in hair. The main function of this new Pantene Pro V range is to give radiant, beautiful and shiny hair to the consumers. The Pantene hair Research Institute experts discovered that the build-up of excessive oxidative minerals in hair can have damaging effects on hair health. Oxidative minerals amplify the production of free radicals, which in turn leads to the fracture and erosion of proteins, weakening hair over time. 

Pantene is the first brand designed this formula to prevent protein erosion by minimizing mineral accumulation in hair. If you use continuously, mineral-induced oxidative stress declines , hair's protein are better preserved and hair condition can improve over time, ultimately giving you beautiful radiant and shiny hair.  The re-formulated Pantene Pro-V shampoo range with Keratin Damage Blocker technology includes color & perm lasting care, daily moisture repair, hair fall control and total damage care.


The consistency of the product is thick and it is the same like the other typical Pantene shampoo and conditioner, the color of the product is white. 


My short opinions on Pantene Pro V Total Damge Care 10 


First of all, I wanted to say that I love the typical Pantene scent cause it does smells like bubblegum taste. I don't know how to explain it but every time I use Pantene on my hair , the scent does stays whole day long and that is the reason why I am  so impressed with it. Next is the product itself, based on my experience,  I found that the shampoo works fine on me but I heard some people just can't use this brand as it doesn't suit on certain person however Pantene never let me down. By right I have no problem with this shampoo. I enjoyed using it mainly because of the scent, it does cleanse my scalp well and my hair got its weight after using the shampoo and conditioner together. 

Packaging: One word, simple.  nothing much to comment. once you look at the bottle , you  already know it is Pantene product. :) great branding packaging ya?

XES Premium Boutique Launching Event

XES has opened a new boutique, spreading its wings at Glenmarie Shah Alam and offers variety of new designs and collection. I was invited to go to their opening launching ceremony and had an opportunity to experience he "comfort-ness" of the shoes brand by myself. To those who doesn't know what is XES, here is a short brief on the company.

XES was established on 23rd March 2002, a brand under Shellys Marketing Sdn Bhd. The core of the business concentrates on retail store management as well as local and export original equipment manufacturer (OEM) while its operations are led by an experienced top management and systematic departments. 
In 2014, the brand has been revamped and introduced a new tagline "Superior Comfort for Happy Feet". The new tagline is more committed to create happy feet and comfortable feature shoes. Currently XES has 80  outlets branched out across major shopping and retail complexes. 

I did bring home one pair of shoes, if you want to know which pair did I take home, just keep reading! 


When I see this design, my mind was immediately think of  "comfort" or in informal way I would say, a pair that I can wear daily!

Continue to the XES collection shoes. These are some of the pairs that are designed based on zodiac. I forgot the full name of the collection, it should be named of "zodiac collection", hopefully I got it right.

Oh, this is the most interesting pair. I love this is idea of shoes however I am looking for thinner design nevertheless better than zero. This pair can be folded and bring it along with you in the handbag. It is also can be you emergency pair in case you need to remove your heels, these flats are ready in your handbag. 

 Oh My God! This bow flats are calling me to bring them home . Ala, sabar ye sayang? 

The flats can be folded into this! 


See the details and quality of the shoes. It is not bad kan?  Pretty design at affordable price.

Wanna know why I chose this pair?

1) It is white, I have 50 pairs of shoes but non of them is white
2) It is wedges, wide base and comfortable for long distance walk. To those who know me well, I can walk up to 10km with wedges! seriously, I used to wear wedges and walked around KL for the whole day. Walking here meaning, walk like a tourist using trains; from Central Market to Petaling Street to Museum Telekom and many more. It was a 6 hours tour for our class assignment. We were required to do religion and gastronomy tour so, we head to churches around KL, Mosques, temples and many more.
3) It is only RM 69.90. :) attractive enough to catch your attention? wink wink! jom shopping! hehe

MEGA BAZAAR 2014

It's finally here! The event will starts tomorrow until Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm and you can do your raya Shopping Spree here! Oh yes! It is at Eh Eh Mega Bazaar! If you want to know thw full agenda of the event, you need to visit to the bazaar by yourself because everything is arranged by the organiser.  MAEPS Serdang- there would be 1000 booths including 60 celebrities' booths and the most importantly, everything is selling at the lowest price!

FINAL DAY OF MEGA BAZAAR 2014!

40 Thousand (40,000) visitors in total "attacked" Eh Eh Mega Bazaar today (The first day bazaar on 21 June) and that was an amazing start.


The event was launched by Timbalan Ketua Pengarah MARA (Usahawan) Puan Salmah Hayati and Timbalan Presiden Dewan Peniaga Melayu Malaysia, Datuk Ayaluddin Che Hassan. People were coming to the bazaar non stop from 10 am to 10 pm today (21 June) and total of 1058 booths were setup and sells variety of things from food, fashion and services.  

Celebrities that also joined and came supporting the bazaar were  Neelofa, Adi Putra, Anita Baharom, Arja Lee, Rosyam Nor and many more. So, tomorrow is your last chance to meet them and other local celebrities. Besides that , you can enjoy watching their performances and grab some food from some of the food booths because what I heard from my friends they said the food are awesome! 
Remember to join the bazaar; Shopping, enjoy and eat. That is what you should do to utilize your weekend. BE HAPPY AND ENJOY! Spend you quality rime with your loved ones; family and friends. 

Most of the visitors are happy and satisfied with the MAEPS facilities! From the trams, shutter bus as well as the wide alleys. Everyone was happy today! -Good job Eh Eh Bazaar organiser!

My Lipstick Collection 2014

Hello girls, Today I am going to do a makeup collection post, to be exact, revealing my lipstick collection due to bunch of requests. I know I have over flow lipsticks collection but believe me, I am trying to use them all! remember, I am not trying brag about it but just wanted to share "how do I organise my lipsticks" and at the same time I believe that this could inspire you to do spring cleaning in organising your makeup collection because I do enjoyed reading and watching people do makeup collection post because it does motivates me to organise my makeup collection and go through all of my makeup. All these lipsticks are the ones that I decided to keep and trying to use off.
Warning! this post would be extremely long with plenty of pictures. 

Okay, first of all we would start with the Alex drawer from Ikea. My alex drawer is the 5-level design and most of my lipsticks are in this larger drawer (the third level).  If you are wondering where to get the acrylic lipstick organizer, you can contact me as my sister is selling it at very affordable price. 


PART 1


I arranged and organized all of my lipsticks according to their shapes and brands (just to make them look more attractive and neat) .

I have three L'oreal Shine Caresse lip stains (3colors; Faye, Princess and Venus) , a fabulous product to own and it was in my favorite for couple of months. Yet not anymore because for some reason I feel my lips burned after applying it on and since then I stopped using it. However, it stays quite long on the lips with great pigmentation for a gloss-type of product. 
Etude House Blooming lipstick (3 colors; OR 204, OR 205 & BE 101) I must admit that these Etude House lipsticks are in matte finishes and dry out on lips , so I am not recommending this to you guys but if you are a collector, the packaging is an A ^_^ Etude House is good in making cute packaging.


NYX Matte lipsticks are my top favorite lipsticks. If you haven't read my review, just click this link. The formula, texture, color and price are awesome. Everything is in one shot! This product is absolutely MUST HAVE IN THE PURSE PRODUCT. :) 

Zoom in from the left is Shu uemura Lipstick (PK 339) , a product given by my best friend, Lily. Thanks babe! Rimmel London Kate Moss ( 103) -a beautiful medium pink, MUA fashionista (Atomic Tangerine) - a very creamy  lipstick & affordable too! , Etude House -an old version with no label on it .


Continue with the three twins of Wet and wild lipsticks ( Pinkerbell, Dollhouse pink, Stoplight Red)- very creamy, affordable and pigmented lipstick. It is highly recommended! .  Bioderma lipbalm- which is my favorite lipbalm as it gives me very soft , watery & moisturising lips.If you are going to France, make sure you grab this lip balm as many as you can because its the best lipbalm ever!  Lastly, NYX Round Lipsticks ( Louisiana and NYX) - I used to like this lipstick a lot however I think the scent has changed. I need to get rid of it soon. 


PART 2

Two of the new Maybelline Sensational color  (POW 3 and POW4) - This Pink Alert range is sooooo amazing crazy pigmented! They are my favorite lipsticks too! Go get them once they are up on the shelves! Next products are my favorite Lip Polish (Signature Scarlet 020, Glam 6, Glam 1 and Glam 7)- Damn! I have so many favorite lip products until I didn't realised that I have too many lip products in my collection because I'm using them all.  Maybelline color whisper (orange attitude) - the texture is almost similar to lip butter from Revlon yet it is different in formula and less oily. That's all I can say, nothing much cause the product is not available in Malaysia though. Benefit Coralista is a lip gloss, it is not a lacquer or lipstick yet I love using it whenever I want to do light natural makeup. Applying some lip gloss on the lips creates a very subtle and pleasant look.
On the bottom row, I have the only MAC lip glass (Feelin' so good)  and NYX Butter gloss( Cream Cheese cake) . The rest of my collection is full with NYX Soft lip cream (Stockholm , Istanbul, Addis Ababa , San Paolo, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo) - you can the full review over here. 

PART 3
Most of the lipsticks in this organiser are Mayelline and Revlon. I put them together because of the lipstick shape & size are in the same family. 


Top: Maybelline Color Sensational (Plumtastic, Hooked on Pink, Are-you-reddy , Coral Crush , Peachy scene, Mat 5 & Mat 7)- I have a lot of Maybelline Sensational lipsticks because I love their pigmentation and color. Matte lipsticks are absolutely my favorites because they are last longer and stay on place. Anyhow, I only have 2 bullets from their matte collection. 

Middle: Revlon Lip Butter ( Tutti Fruiti , Lollipop, Peach Parfait ) , Revlon Colorburst ( Fuchsia &Soft nude) , Revlon Super Lustrous ( Smoked Peach, pink in the Afternoon, Kissable Pink, Wine not & ravish me Red)

bottom: Stage Lipstick (Hallowed Heather & Paparazzi Pink)- some of the best lipstick brand and formula I ever have, yet it is already discontinued . Hopefully Stage could bring this line again as the pigmentation, color , texture  formula are completely amazing!.  Maybelline Watershine (P11) -this lipstick has its own sentimental value as it is my very first lipstick I ever owned, used and purchased by my own money. Last but not least is the only Silky girl lipstick I ever owned ( Sunny Rose)- a beautiful coral rosey shade.


if you are asking me , "what shade should I get from the  Maybelline Color sensational permanent line?" I would recommend you to grab: ARE-YOU-REDDY , MAT 7 and CORAL CRUSH.

ARE-YOU-REDDY : a bold red lipstick with blue under-toned to it that makes teeth look whiter.

MAT7: it is a warm nude matte lipstick with a hint of pink. It won't makes your face look pale , after all it is a perfect nude for all complexion. 

CORAL CRUSH: It is a gorgeous neon coral color that would swipes you with confidence. 


PART 4
 This part is totally jumbo up products. 
Three random depot-ted lip colors. Pure Rose MAC, NYX Spellbound and Too cool for school orange lip pencil. I don't know about you but I have this diesease where I can't throw something that I loved and wanted to keep it forever eventhough if I am not using it for my entire life. weird though? Urghhh. One day I need to learn to let something go. ( Sing: Let it go) 

Incomplete Inglot lipcolors-  white and true purple lip colors. 

Another Inglot round pans lip colors that I got from the clearance sale.

A bunch of lip glosses and I keeping the ones that I am still using it.  Even though I am not a big fan of it, anyhow I still using it depending on my mood because they help to give illusion of fuller lips.



Lip tints, Mini Posie tint and cha cha tint from Benefit and Peri Pera tint (red). 

I always use them whenever I need a light makeup look or just to spice up my morning lips color. 


PART 5
Now we are coming to my lip balm collection! who is up for this? woot woot! 

My Maybelline baby lips collection. My favorites are: Anti -Oxidant Berry, Dr Rescue, Pink Lolita and Methol.

Mixing brands Mylipsuff lipbalms, Burt's Bee, Maybelline and Lip Smacker.



Etude House Bee Happy Lip balm,- I got it in couple of years ago , doesn't sure whether the product is still available in the market or other way round. Anyhow, it is a great product except for the packaging wise. I found it is a bit difficult and slippery to open the tin. 
The Hershey lip balm- It does tastes like chocolate yet I have problem for not liking it. I am not sure why, but I have tried it for several times and my answer is still the same. I want to throw it away but  I love the packaging, it is so adorable.

ACRYLIC DRAWER

PART 6 

 Sexy Smexy chubby and slim lip pencils.
From left: Revlon Matte balm (Standout & Showy) -It is a very pigmented product , Rimmel 1000 kisses tint (endless blossom & unstoppable red) , Makeup Forever Aqua Rouge (#18) - it is very pigmented and waterproof yet the product is like an ink, we would feel like a layer of ink on our lips. Too Faced (Bee Sting) - I don't like this product, planning to get rid of it but feel guilty cause I only used it once.  Too Cool for School (orange) , Etude House Neon Tint - a great lip tint for those doesn't like makeup. This tint gives you a very light color onto your lips and makes you look pretty like a korean girl. okbye! haha

Bottom: Nars (Lodhi)- A nice creamy lip color  but nay for the price. MUA (Justify) - this pencil is similar to revlon balm in a way of scent, texture , and moisturising finish, everything is the same. 



I have threw some of the lip pencils that already expired and just left the ones that I'm still using. NYX lip pencils (Rose, Orange, Hot Pink , Grape fruit & Nude) are my favorites because they're long-lasting, highly pigmented, affordable with wide of color selection. Essence lip liner (honey bun) is also not bad, the price is cheap yet the product is very creamy and pigmented! However, the color selection is very limited. MUA lip liner ( Red Drama)  is the best-seller color in their line and it never disappoint me.Jordana lip pencil (Baby Berry & Plush Plum) Oh My God, this stuff is really amazing, it is very pigmented, no funny smell and the price is a win. However, this brand is only can be found online at Colorcosmeticsmalaysia or any instagram online shops. I am gonna do a review on these lipliners. 

PART 7

The second acrylic drawer is full of my high end lipsticks. I do owned many of MAC lipsticks because of the formulation and quality. I love my YSL lipstick but I think it is over-priced and too expensive for me to spend hundreds of ringgit for a tube of lipstick. Anyhow, the quality is amazing , pigmentation is fantastic and the attractive packaging is DA bomb dot com! Another high end lipstick brand that I have is a Dior Rouge lipstick. Hello, Salam Ramadhan!

Hope you guys are fasting today. :) hehehe. Today I am gonna be reviewing one of my favorite traditional beauty products which is Bunga Tanjung "Skrub Muka Herba Tradisional " (Herbal Facial scrub traditional).

First of all, let me share a story on the company's background. Bunga Tanjung Herbal Powder has been in the market since year 1970's by a woman. In year 1980's, the powder formula has been improvised and commercialized by the son of the woman named Haji Mohd Che Man and now the company is managed by his daughter, Puan Ilyani. Basically this herbal powder is traditionally formulated using the family best kept secret formulation.  the main ingredients are based from natural ingredients such as rice powder , turmeric powder, skin of Rambai tree trunk (Rambai fruit tree) and other herbal ingredients. 
Basically I am so impressed with this family business because they keep the original traditional formula and using it until the third generation, commercialize it to the Malaysia beauty market.


The biggest trusted wholesaler for this product is Mydin Mohamed Holdings (MYDIN) . The powder is selling widely in Mydin stores nationwide as well as at herbal / jamu stores and kiosks all over Malaysia. So you can find the product at Mydin and at all herbal kiosks /counters in Malaysia. 

Initially, the main hot selling Bunga Tanjung product is the traditional herbal powder and it is the best selling product brand for the entire 40 years! Can you believe it? So that's mean, our grandmas using it to get natural pretty radiant look without using chemical products or going to facial treatment. Now,Bunga Tanjung has spreads it's brand into few new innovative products.




Bunga Tanjung industries has come out with a new product named "Skrub Muka Herba Traditional" (Facial Scrub) with the same ingredients however mainly focusing on the face scrub (can be also used a mask). The packaging has been developed into a "tube packaging" to make the job easier, no need to mix and straightly use from the tube aligned with modern lifestyle. Now, we can use traditional herbal scrub straightly from a tube, no need extra steps to get pretty.it's so convenient!

The reason why I enjoyed using this facial scrub is because of the formula. It has traditional natural ingredients that delicate and safe to use on face, therefore I never hesitate to use it more than once in a week just to exfoliate my face with this facial scrub. 

It has very fine bead particles that would not hurt skin.

This is the original product,  traditional Bunga Tanjung powder. If you want to know my all the time favorite scrub and mask for my face and body, the answer would be this. This is my favorite body scrub and face mask since the day my mom introduced me to this BUNGA TANJUNG powder. She said: " I have been using Bunga Tanjung Rambai since before married and back then,  everyone was using it before the wedding day to get the bride's aura and glow".
Well, girls, I am telling you the truth.  No bluffing! I am using it on myself and I even willing to re-purchase the products I put my trust on traditional products.


This face and body scrub is mainly formulated using natural ingredients without any misture of chemical ingredients. For the continuing use, this Herbal powder could transform the skin into a softer skin and free from blemishes, blackheads, light scars as well as skin diseases. 
 
There is no exact proportion for this mixture however you can  roughly guess the amount of water drop needed until you get the right consistency and desire texture to scrub and leave it as mask. Make sure the consistency is not too watery so that it is able to stay on the skin without dripping. 

As you can see, the mixture doesn't drip and stays nicely on one place.

DIRECTION: Mix the powder with plain water. scrub on the face and body. Then rinse with luxe water.
It is also can be used as a mask. Apply on face, let it dry and leave it on the face for about 15 to 20 minutes . During the period, you can feel the mask tigthens your skin . If you can stand with the herbal scent, it works the best if you leave it on the face and rinse it on the next morning. It would gives you beautiful radiant and glow. I always do this to get glowing brighter face. For some reason, this method does works and it gives me amazing effect. Sometimes, back to traditional method is the best way to get a radiant glow without chemical ingredients. 

As you can see, this is the right consistency to scrub on your whole body and leave it overnight for getting radiant, glowing face and body. Sometimes, I would put extra water to get a mask texture and apply it on skin  as a mask (body and face) without scrubbing. Just leave it overnight.

Scent: It doesn't bother me even though it has herbal "bunga rambai" scent. It shows that there's no additional chemical fragrance into this product. It is definitely fragrance-free but the original scent of herbs are there.





Overall, I enjoyed using both of these products so do my mom. This herbal powder is so useful it can be used as mask  as well as scrub from head to toe. Meanwhile the Face Scrub ( Skrub Muka Herba) is so convenient and ten times easier than the traditional way without mixing the powder and water. Just use the scrub straightly from the tube. Easy to carry for travelling and keep it in the toilet whilst for the powder need to keep it in a small container for next uses. Both are great products,they work fairly the same.  I use the facial scrub for my weekly face scrub and the powder for my body scrub. Since I have the facial scrub (tube) it makes my day easier and I noticed that I have using it very frequent compared to the Bunga Rambai powder because I no need mix it of with water. The fine beads gently exfoliate dead cell very well and the natural ingredients in the products convincing me to use it frequently and confidently on my face and body.  The product doesn't irritates or drying my skin after using it. In fact, my skin feel twice better than before. Most importantly, we can get the products at very affordable price. It is not always about spending more money to be pretty, it is about YOU, how do you use the money wisely for your beauty.

Bourjois Blusher Little round pot in Rose Frisson review

Bourjois is a UK makeup brand that have been around for 150 years. That's pretty crazy! Bourjois spread its wings , step into Malaysia market and finally setup the first store in Sunway Pyramid, Malaysia. This high street make up brand is pretty popular in United Kingdom for the high quality product at affordable price. I do not know whether this is a rumor or whatsoever but I heard that Bourjois brand is actually has some kind of relationship with Chanel brand. I am not pretty sure with this fact however, I could see the quality , packaging and product are almost similar with Chanel. If you know anything about Bourjois, you can tell me in the comment section below, I would like to know more about this brand because I am not too sure whether the rumors are right or in other way round because people keep saying Bourjois is the substitute / drugstore makeup for Chanel , they come from the same company and so on. Oh My God, IF  it's true, I am gonna scream like a psycho woman because I have already in love with Bourjois products mainly on their foundation and blusher. I am looking forward to try more products in the future. 



There's roughly 12 shades ; shimmer and semi-matte but mostly are shimmery because they're baked blushers. What makes baked blusher special is mainly because of "natural look" given when you swipe it on cheeks. It gives natural glow with 95% similar to skin natural blush. I got mine in Rose Frisson, this color is suitable for light medium to very fair complexion, it would not visible on medium or darker complexion. 


The shape of this powder blusher is in dome shape and when I take a sniff of this blush, I could smell a typical "old" powder product. Well, frankly speaking I would say "nanny" smell. haha. Yet, the smell doesn't bother me, still bearable.


It comes in half crescent shape brush and it has a curvy shape to fit  into the dome blush. Honestly, at first I don't really give attention into this brush because I thought I won't use this brush cause it is freaking small and defiantly in my mind thinking of throwing it away. However, I gave a try and my thought was wrong because this brush is absolutely my savior. The bristle is soft and it gives precise angle for my cheekbones. Not only that, I also use the brush to apply highlight on cheeks because it picks up product very well compare to other small complementary brushes.  So, it is a good product to carry around in your purse. 


 It has a magnetic button that able to close properly and tight. Besides that, it is made from plastic, compact, light, small and easy to bring for travelling as it includes brush and mirror in it.



The color for this blusher is kind of a mixture between coral and pink yet it looks more into pink tone. It has fine shimmer into it and blend naturally onto the skin. The color creates a healthy rosy cheeks look for fair complexion however for medium and darker skin tone, the color need to be build as it is quite sheer for the first two layers applied.The color is absolutely build-ale and pigmented. At first it gives very sheer color (depends on color of skin) yet it is build-able and control-able. (Meaning it is easy for me to control the color la. Sometimes I want merry plush pinky cheeks so I would apply 3 to 4 layers of it. Sometimes I want very mild blush cheeks and I would just swipe one layer , blend it well to give very natural rosy cheeks)

Overall, I would give this blusher 5/5 as it is one of my best blushers in my collection. In addition, it is selling at affordable price but works great same like my high end blushers. If you are a blusher person, this product is defiantly for you. ;)

Daily Fresh, I bet most of you already know and familiar with this brand. A kiosk selling hot waffle (this is my favorite) , cupcorn (my favorite during study time. damn! I miss that time. Rifga and I always buy cupcorn and eat together in class ) , ice creams and drinks. I know you guys would say" what the heck this beauty blogger suddenly talk about food?" . oh Boy, I need to eat too and when I like something I would share it on my blog. I never tried any ice cream range from Daily Fresh and surprisingly they taste damn nice wey! Walaoweyh! 
Terkejutz nyah! I never know that Daily Fresh has high quality ice cream. There's two type of ice cream; ICE KIMO and GELATO. "IceKimo is the new invention by the Research & Development team from Daily Fresh Foods. It is made from a special combination of fresh fruits, natural flavoured ice and fruit toppings. My favorites among them all are: Pineapple and Soursop.



Lastly is the most exciting product which is Gelato (ice cream). The recipe is form Italy but the machine is imported from UK. So, it has Italian ice cream quality taste and you no need to travel far to feel like a tourist. Just pamper yourself by eating Gelato Ice cream from Daily Fresh. I never knew that Daily Fresh has This AMAZING Gelato! In my entire life, I am afraid of eating Gelato because I don't know that Gelato means Ice cream.     Miss Hana Waterproof Eyeliner Gel Pencil Review

    GIRLS TALK

    Today I am gonna review an eyeliner from Miss Hana. Miss Hana is a korean brand makeup product and I know not many of you know this brand because it is not selling widely in Malaysia and only can be found through online. Yet, I must share the" amazing-ness" of this product to you. Why? cause I am just loving it.

    Couple of my friends were asking me;
    Wiida, what is the best pencil eyeliner in the market?  I want affordable eyeliners. I don't want to know the "pricey" and high end eyeliner. I want the cheap ones la. 

    Okay girls, My answers would be:

    1) You may try Sephora 12h eyeliner . (you can get it at Sephora @ RM 32 only)
    2) Miss Hana gel eyeliner (the one that I am reviewing, kindly referring to the subject)
    3) Maybelline Masterline eyeliner(if it suits you, some of my friends recommend it to me, but it doesn't work on my oily eyelids. My eyelids are really difficult to work with.)
    4) Maybelline gel eyeliner. I heard so many great things about it and it is also one of the best Gel liner in the market, aligned with high end products.
    5) Heavy Rotation is one of my favorite eyeliners, but it is in INK MARKER PEN form. Plus, the price is quite expensive for me to retain buying it every month.
    6) Others, I haven't found any waterproof / smudge proof eyeliner in pharmacies yet. But, the top 5 eyeliners that I have mentioned were the ones I've tried and so far, they are the best among other eyeliner pencils in Watsons / Guardian.


    The original packaging of Miss Hana pencil is same to the bottom pencil. No Leopard sticker at the end of the pencil. I put that sticker by myself as to differentiate between chocolate and black eyeliner pencil. Both are in same packaging , therefore it is quite confusing and I found other alternative by labeling it myself using "washi tape". You also can use this technique if you have more than one Miss Hana Pencil. :) 


    I got mine in the colors of Night Black and Choco brown, both are mattes. There's also another two shades which have hint of glitters in it, Galaxy Black and Golden black. I prefer matte rather than shimmer because I use it more frequent than glitters pencils.


    Gel Eyeliner Pencil, when I heard of "Gel" of course in my mind I was thinking of an eyeliner jar but it is not in jar form, In fact it is in a pencil form. Easy to apply, control-able and  No need to use brush to apply this eyeliner. However, the texture is very similar to gel liner, therefore, to set this creamy eyeliner , we need to use brush to blend it well and set it with black eye shadow or else it would smudge and makes your eyes look like a cute panda. :) 


    I normally use this eyeliner on my; 

    WATERLINE - no need to set with eyeshadow or blend it with brush

    LOWER LASHES - Need to set with eyeshadow on top of it and blending it. This is my favorite way of using it. It is waterproof and so far, it's never smudge even if  I forgot to blend and apply black eyeshadow on top of it. 

    EYELIDS - Whenever I need to do simple normal eyeliner without wings. I need to set it very well to prevent from smudge because I have extremely oily eyelids. Sometimes I would use angle brush to create wings line. There's many ways to play with this eyeliner. 

    INNER RIMS - no need to set with eyeshadow or blend it with brush. Just normal application. 






    What are the criteria(s) that catch my attention on Miss Hana Gel Eyeliner pencil?
    1) Sweet pink packaging. 5/5 for the packaging!
    2) When I heard it is waterproof and smudge proof eyeliner, I immediately wanted to try it.
    3) I read so many reviews about it and most of them are positives especially on pigmentation and longevity.
    4) Affordable price , it is RM 26 at Hermo.my | RM 24.90 at Nattacosme.com
    5)  It is GEL LINER. Who can resist of getting a perfect gel liner for the eyes?



    It is very pigmented and bold. The choco brown is great to use on lower lashes for natural brown make up look. Besides that, to create very natural light makeup, choco brown is the best shade to be used on eyelids as a normal eyeliner look.

    Night Black is the darkest creamiest black eyeliner I ever had.  Even my Bobbi Brown gel liner is not this creamy (maybe it's already dried out). Nevertheless, Pencil form of gel liner is good to keep because it would not dries out very quickly and last pretty long in our stash. Furthermore, this pencil gel eyeliner is easy to carry around as the cap attach very close to the pencil even after sharpening it. Carrying around jar gel eyeliner is annoying because we need to carry along the brush too. If the brush doesn't has a cap, it would makes the makeup bag a big mess with the leftover ink on the brush.

    For this couple of weeks, I love to create very bold and sharp eyes by adding full eyeliner on my lower lashes, waterline as well as on my inner rim eyes. This way of putting eyeliner creates a very sharp and doll y eye look. As you can see in the pictures below, it brings a huge difference from my normal makeup look.

    My words on this eyeliner;

    Are you ready to listen to my thoughts?

    First, I would highlight the waterproof and smudge-proof test. I didn't take photos for the waterproof test but I did the test and it is totally proven as waterproof gel liner. Anyhow, for the smudge-proof test, for some reasons, it does smudge on my oily eyelids but not horribly smudge. Just a little bit but still , it doesn't stay on place. Bear in your mind that I have very very very extremely oily eyelids. Even Bobbi Brown, Nars Larger Than Life and other gel , cream eyeliner-type does nothing on my eyelids. So far, only Sephora 12H eyeliner works the best on me. Other than Sephora 12H eyeliner, I need to be extra careful and apply it on waterline,  inner rims and lower lashes only.
    Now, I am very happy because I found a great daily eyeliner (besides the Sephora 12H pencil)  for myself and also to be used on client , especially brides as I need to ensure that they get a perfect non-smudge makeup for their big day. 

    Next is the texture of the product. As I have mentioned earlier, the texture is very creamy (gel alike) and it glides very smooth and silky. However, we need to blend it with brush and set it with eye shadow on top of it to prevent from smudging. Nevertheless it is not a big problem for me because as long I have no difficulties applying it on eyes and it stays nicely on skin, it is a perfect eyeliner for me. I just need an easy eyeliner to work with.  One additional important information, this eyeliner is easy to remove by using normal eye makeup remover. That's it! It doesn't has any specific makeup remover or whatsoever. It just need an oil-base makeup remover or baby oil. :) 

    So far, I really like and enjoyed using this eyeliner. Planning to re-purchase it once it's finished.

    The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Review

    Many of you would think highlighter is not an important element in makeup routine and always skip this step seems it looks unimportant step for you. However, did you ever noticed that this is actually THE MOST CRUCIAL step besides base. Not only that, some of my friends and readers don't have enough guts to put highlighter on. Why? Why you guys ignoring this amazing goddess?

    The answer is always be one. It is about CONFIDENT.  For the first time user, you would feel applying  highlighter is too heavy and it is unnecessary to include into your makeup routine. Being a consumer and makeup addict, I know how that's feel. I used to say to my friend "wow, applying highlighter? that's so glamorous babe! where do you want to go? highlighter is just for dinner occasion babe." . That was my narrow mind set when I was in beginner level. Duh!

    The truth is, highlighter is crucial for day and night time makeup. Even for the day makeup , it gives very pretty glow on the cheekbone. It highlights our smile face asset and at the same time it makes our skin face looks healthier and structured especially in the photo.  


    I knew that there's not many highlighter products selling in the market, especially the " drugstore/ pharmacy" version; affordable with quality products.Most of highlighters are from high end products. I know that, I would like to try more products in the future.

    Last month I managed to grab a very popular highly raved highlighter from Sasa. It is  Mary-Lou Manizer and only can be found in SASA. I was aiming for this highlighter for quite some time. Actually it has been more than a year. haha. Only last month I got a sign from God to buy it. haha. Alhamdullilah for the rezki. 



    It costs RM 64.90 after 10% off . Sasa Malaysia is always having sale especially in the festival month. So, if you want to buy , get it during the sale. it is so worth even it's only 10% off. Save up some money babes! 



    Now it is time for me to spill my thoughts on this product. I am gonna go straight to the points. It has a beautiful champagne yellow tone color and looks pretty on every complexion from very fair to medium dark skin tone. The texture of this product is extremely buttery , soft and highly pigmented. You no need to work hard on applying it on cheeks.You just need a very little amount to apply onto the cheekbone. However, this powder highlighter need to be blended very well so that it would creates very natural glows and blended well onto the skin. Most of powder highlighters doesn't need to be blended out but this "girl" is exceptional. It would look patchy if you didn't blend it properly. Mary-Lou highlighter doesn't has glitters or shimmers in it and also can be used on bridge of the nose, cupid bow lips as well as on the brow bone. 

    Since it is very pigmented, you need to control the amount of products applied on the cheeks. Too much products could enhance your pores. I don't have pores on cheeks but if you do, better tab the brush, filter the excess before applying it onto the skin because once you swipe the brush on the pan, it would picks up a lot of products due to the overly soft texture.



    The packaging is so flattering, you can judge it yourself, I don't want to say much. Oh My god! I just can't stop looking at it! Cantik gile babe!Very sleek, compact, and easy to bring for travel. 



    Look at the swatch, it is so pigmented and buttery. I just swipe it lightly on pan and I got this much of pigmentation. It glides almost like a butter, very soft, not chalky and not powdery. It's SUPERB! The texture reminds me of Stila Kitten. If you have Stila Kitten, then you would know the feeling of victory. haha. *out of the blue.

    The highlighter looks great on skin once it's blended and set. Don't worry, it is not overly shimmery / glittery on the skin. It is perfect for beginners too because it looks "mild" under natural light. is there any word to replace mild? I just can't think of any other words for now but you know what I meant. hikhik. 



    Overall, I think this The Balm Mary Lou highlighter is very worth to own especially for beginners. Highlighter is very important, it is also can be used on brow bones, inner corner of the eyes, on bridge of the nose, cupid bow, and also on your shoulder bones to give definition. It is multi-purpose highlighter, you can use it everywhere.

    Hello~ today I am so excited because I am gonna review a product from Maybelline. Daa~ Of course I need to review this product. My face is on the brochure ok? It is everywhere!! (perasan jap). haha. It is only in Malaysia, I'm not trying to brag about it. Hek hek. (senyum kambing).But still la just wanted to review this product while it is new in the market.  What else are you expecting? It is Hyprsharp Laser Liner, which is the newest product from Maybelline.The first finest tip Liquid eyeliner in the market.




    Love and Hate relationship.
    Okay, coming back to the main topic. Maybelline Hypersharp Laser Eyeliner. How amazing is this product? What's the difference between this Hypersharp laser and the original Hypersharp liner?

    The huge difference is THE PRECISION, SIZE OF THE TIP!

    The new Hypersharp Laser liner has three shades ; brown, black and soft black while the original version has only one single color, Black.
    By using this hypersharp laser, you can draw very thin line as the tip is very fine and easy to control. 


    Packaging.

    I don't want to say much on the packaging, as you can see it has very elegant black background color with metallic font. The shape is slim and light so it is easy to bring for travelling. Not only that, the cap attach tightly so that it won't make a big mess in your makeup bag.


    Easy to control.
    You can draw very precisely and it is also easy to control, so you can draw your desire thickness line. Sometimes we feel we want very natural and thin line, therefore you skip putting eyeliner because you know, you gonna draw it thick, then when it's not balance and it becomes thicker and even heavier. everything went messy. you just don't want to waste your time drawing a perfect eyeliner and skip this step.. However, this Hypersharp laser liner would saves a lot of your time. Seriously, no kidding. 




    So far it is my holy grail eyeliner . I have been using them alternately of each color.

    Colors.

    Black- I'm using this eyeliner to do my normal cat eye liner.

    Soft Black - I know the color is very soft and not bold. I've noticed that Asian doesn't like soft black and will prefer very black bold eyeliner since the black eyeliner would makes your eyes look bigger. Faded black eyeliner is not popular among us because we don't really like natural eyes and some of us just do not know how to fully utilized it.  Therefore, there is another alternative way to use this eyeliner. I normally use this eyeliner to create illusion of voluminous lower lashes. To make the lower lashes look thicker and longer which is in a way to make the eyes look bigger and dolly look. Be creative while using this eyeliner, because it can be used in multiple ways. It also can be used a very thin eyeliner , just enough to create larger eye illusion.

    Brown- I really love to use this pen to draw innocent line.Ala , like korean eyeliner macam tu.. Not only that, this brown color eyeliner is great to use when you want to do"no makeup, makeup look". It creates subtle and soft natural eye look without over empowering it. If we use black, it is too bold . So, brown is the best color to create natural eye look. Plus, it is not easy to find "true brown" eyeliner in the market. Most of brown eyeliner has "glitter" in it or the color is too dark.


    Formula.
    The formula of this eyeliner is works the same with the original one. It lasts one whole day on place if you did not rubbing your eyes. Moreover, it doesn't irritates the eyes. It sets immediately after applied.
    Even though it is sweat and smudge-proof but it is not a waterproof eyeliner. It would dissolve into water but it won't leave smudge-y panda eyes.







    The eyeliner is definitely not water-proof eyeliner yet it is smudge proof proven. 
    This eyeliner is perfect for beginners and also professional.

    Oh My god, It's already JULY! half way through to 2015. Time flies so fast. I feel like I just celebrated my birthday April, and now it's already July. Walaoweyh!  That's means I am running out of time chasing my dreams before age 30. 
    Today I will be doing June Favorites. I  know I've missed out a lot of monthly favorite posts, but what to do, I just keep using the same thing, alternately for the previous months.There's nothing much difference. Ya, right! aah! yup! yippie!  :P  (real reason: been busy with  tonne of works) hehe.

    Silkygirl Big Eye mascara (original)

    If I'm not mistaken, there's two version of Big Eye ; the original removable formula & waterproof formula). At the beginning of my blogging career (fulamak career!) , this Silkygirl mascara was the first sponsored item for my blog. hehe. really a piece of sentimental item.

    Well, actually this mascara does its job in curling my eyes, lengthening,make my lashes visible,  easy to remove,  and less fall off lashes. For some reason,  I  feel my lashes are much healthier. So far, this Silkygirl and Maybelline Rocket are my favorites. I already purchased these two mascaras so many times lah..

    Bourjois Paris Foundation Healthy Mix

    The best foundation in universe! haha. Do I have any right to say that? haha (slap me please!Sesuka hati je) Hey! Don't knock it if you haven't tried it! You should try it then you know why did I said that.  it is only RM 55.90 (Correct me if I'm wrong) , I am pretty sure you won't regret for this month's foundation pick. All of my high end foundations have been neglected because of this. Damn! rasa membazir pulak

    Bourjois Paris Blusher Rose Frisson

    I went insane with this blusher. I just can't get enough with it. I am wearing it since the day I got it and keep using it until today. I love the rush because t is cute, easy to carry around in my makeup bag, no need to bring ther brush in my makeup bag. Just use this brush to apply my blusher and highlighter. (especially for us muslims, there's no excuse for us to redo our makeup after solat. This blusher is so practical! LOL! Blusher is one of my MUST do steps in my light makeup routine).  

    My light Makeup routine: Foundation or concealor  , eyebrow , mascara , blusher, highlighter and lipbalm. This is the my simplest everyday makeup .

    Makeup geek Cocoa Bear and Cinderella.

    this two buddies are my besties for several months. Everytime I am out of ideas, I would straightly grab this two shades. Cocoa bear to be used on the crease (eye socket),  blending it until the color get faded and blended.
    Cinderella is a gorgeous light naked pink color , I will apply this color all over my lids & on my brow bones. These two eyeshadows are perfect to create daily natural cut crease look.

    Egyptian Magic

    I just started using it in the month of June. Nowadays, the weather is so hot and dry, my lips are chapped although after scrubbing the dead cell lips away. I don't have lip mask like other American beauty youtuber and blogger do. I only have a vaseline, Egyptian Magic , body shop lip treatment and other lipbalms. However, I found other does nothing on my lips. Even my body shop lip balm is not effective anymore. Therefore, one day I tested this out before sleeping. Just apply generous amount of this product on the lips before going to bed. You will see the magical effect on the next morning.

    I am glad that the packaging is very sleek, light and easy to carry around because honestly I most of my foundation bottles are making me sick of keeping them. I had too many bottles until I don't know where should I keep them to a



    The cream blends perfectly onto the skin and the color turns into skin tone color. Some of the cc creams in the market would leave white cream effect on the fair and need time almost 20-30 minutes before the color matches with the skin tone. This LJH Vital cc cream is different, once we blend it onto the skin, it changed into the skin tone color. It's miracle!



    It's time for me to apply the cream. blend -blend- blending well to ensure there's no patchy cream on my face. haha. or else it's kinda embarrassing for me. (malu!)



    I spent a day for testing this out. Oh My Gosh, yes, I am so excited to show you guys how amazing this cc cream and spent my whole day wearing this cc cream. p/s: normally I would do this for new makeup so that I won't look awful when I walk out and people won't see as

    Coverage: 2/5. it is light weight cream product, it is cc not  bb or foundation. So, it just gives very low coverage but even out any skin discoloration and acts like a skincare more than makeup.

    The best way to use this cc cream is y using your own fingers. blend the cc cream with your own fingers as the heat produced would change the cream's color and even out all the imperfection skin discoloration.



    Look at that! The cc cream color matches my neck. That's great.




    Anyhow, there's one contrast, one negative side from this amazing cc cream which is, it cannot be worn at night especially for flash photography. It gives white flash back effect and we can see the skin tone difference in this picture. So, I guess this cc cream is created for daily uses not for the night time. It is not a big deal anyhow because all the benefits and cream's texture are developed for light natural daily makeup. 

    Waterproof Test

    After letting the cc cream on my face for 4 hours in air-conditioning room, I wanted to try experiment something new  that I have never done it in my any review products. It is waterproof test! hel ya. hehehe. evil mind, just want to test this product until make people satisfied before splurge on it. The product is not cheap either. so, why not I do this test for you to decide whether this cc cream is worth to buy or not. hehe. 

    I know some of you would say "What the heck she's doing? why does  she needs to do waterproof test? IS she out of her mind? we are not going to pool , we want to use it for daily basis, to go to office and school not to go to swimming pool".

    The answer is easy, even on me, I always get wet when raining and most of my makeup faded off because of water. Luckily no panda smudge eyes because I always wear non-smudge & waterproof eye makeup but for the base? I always forgot to apply primer and whatsoever, so it's kinda faded off. So, in this section I will make a test whether the cc cream would come off easily or not. ( mystery suspense music on) 

    I sprayed some water for two times. Let the first spray layer dried then spray again for the second time.




    Are you excited to see the result?

    hehe.. 




















    Tadaaa! It is waterproof. not saying 100% waterproof but the product was still there, covering some of my blemishes even though it is not fully covered , yet the coverage is still remain the same. 89% satisfied! 



    Overall, this cc cream is very great to be used for day time , daily basis makeup cream especially to those who rarely wear makeup. This cc cream is great for daily light makeup because it not sticky,  moisturised (I think it has moisturiser ingredient in it, not too sure but I my skin feel moisturised ) , even out discoloration & redness,  doesn't feel heavy after applying it on ( feel like applying moisturiser/ any skin care product) and one more thing, for some reason I feel this product is light and makes my skin healthier ( I don't know whether this is only cause of my psychology or whatnot. what I know, I feel like wearing skin care more than wearing makeup product) .

    Lets take a moment to enjoy this beautiful elegant glass packaging. Oh man! It is so pretty. It has gradient black to transparent glass , so classy, so luxurious. So, once it's finish, we would notify it by looking at the bottom of the glass.






    Texture
    It is water based  with a little bit of sillicon-y feels into it. I don't know how to explain but what I know, it is not sticky and at the same time, it is not too watery and not too thick, it has kinda gel texture. It is not heavy either. The color for this serum is milky white (wow! I feel like I am writing high school science exam answer). 


    Tara! See the color of the serum, it is milky white. I am not lying right? haha.


    First impression
    This product claims that we can see the result after 7-day using it (continuously) . Well, since I am still young and my skin is not matured enough, I feel the only differences that I can see after using this serum is less pimples and my skin getting healthier and radiance (seri artis gitu, perasan jap!) .haha.

    okay, let me tell the true story! - behind the scene, experimenting serum on my face.

    Day 1 - First Trial. Applied the serum on face. No changes.
    Day 2- 2nd application. started to get break out. Damn!
    Day 3 - Break outs, got few pimples on my forehead. 
    Day 4- Stop using it for a couple of weeks.

    Day 20- Started to use it again. I told myself to give it a 2nd try. Babe, when you have expensive product in your collection , you might want to give 2nd try instead of throwing it away.
    Day 21- Apply it like usual until a week.
    Day 28- My face looks healthier, surprisingly no breakouts and my cheeks lift up a little bit ( I don't know whether it is the effect from the serum or maybe because I have gained weight!) haha. SO RANDOM! LOL, but that is what I have noticed after using it. no need to consume collagen anymore. hehe. perasan cantik jap.



    How did I apply the serum onto my face? 
    Well, pump one click from the dropper and rub between your two-hand together, then pat it on face. I noticed that when we pat the serum onto the face, it's kinda absorb faster and do face massage at once. ^_^ 
    If you have leftover product on your palm, just apply it on your neck as well on your arms. I do that every time I have extra product on my hand.

    Basic Makeup Class Batch 1 by Shaza & Wiida

    Basic Makeup Class- #makeupbyshazaaamalina & #makeupbywiidaribbon was happening on last Saturday At Bangi Bandar Seri Putra MALAYSIA. Even though the particpants were only 3 people, but we are so happy and glad that we did this class and teach girls outside there how to do your own makeup and daily makeup.
    Which feature do you want to emphasize?
    We taught them what they want, how they want to look in daily basis, how to makeup for their "merisik event" as well as for raya look. Seriously, we had fun. I have no words to say anymore because I love to play makeup and by seeing them doing their own makeup, I feel so happy and proud. They managed to do their own makeup in the fastest way. Well, they are really fast learners maybe because they have the interest and determination. So, if you want to learn basic makeup especially for your daily makeup, contact us for more details. It is an honor for us to do more classes and teach all the girls to do their own makeup. We teach people based on experiences, makeup trend, "youth makeup style" , and based on your interest.     New York Story (Bahasa Malaysia version)

    To those who know me well, you have probably know that I have been to New York for the New York Fashion Show (Feb 2014) .  This article is specially written for media medium. I am not sure whether this article has been published or not, but ya, I decided to publish this article on my blog so that you guys know roughly my overall experience in New York.

    "Yeay ! Kami akan ke New York!"
    Itulah kata kata saya setibanya saya di Kuala Lumpur airport antarabangsa. Bagaikan tidak percaya saya akan ke New York, di antara destinati 10 teratas idaman ramai. "Betulkah semua ini realiti?" . Bayangkan, beberapa bulan yang lalu, saya hanyalah seorang gadis biasa yang menjalani kehidupan seperti pelajar pelajar institusi yang lain, sibuk dengan tugasan kerja, persediaan peperiksaan serta kerja tambahan. Secara tidak  sengaja, peryertaan saya dalam "Maybelline Rocket me to New York Side walk to Catwalk" mengubah nasib hidup saya. Dalam sekelip mata saya terpilih ke New York untuk menghadiri "2014 New York Fashion Week" bersama seorang lagi pemenang, Nurfitriah. Kini, harinya sudah tiba kami berdua akan diterbangkan ke New York bersama seorang wakil dari Maybelline Malaysia, Puan Fong yang bertanggungjawab untuk membawa kami pergi dan kembali dengan selamat. Penerbangan ke bandar New York mengambil masa 24 jam dan setibanya kami di JFK airport, segala kepenatan hilang begitu sahaja sebaik sahaja memelihat bumi ini diselaputi salji putih. Ini adalah pengalaman yang tidak dapat dilupakan, buat pertama kali saya melihat dan menyentuh salji yang putih bagaikan kapas.
    Bagaikan dalam movie hollywood mahupun cerita-cerita barat, kota bandaraya New York amat sibuk dengan pelbagai urusniaga dan aktiviti yang dijalankan masyarakat setempat. 




    New York kami datang!

    Apalah perjalanan tanpa melawat mercu tanda ikonik Amerika, Patung Liberty. Untuk mendekati patung itu kami belayar menaiki feri yang disediakan lantas untuk menikmati pemandangan bandar New York. Kami juga pberpeluang mendalami informasi menarik tentang Bandar Amerika dengan batuan pemandu pelancong yang memberi banyak pengetahuan penting.

    Patung ikon Liberty merupakan hadiah persahabatan dari rakyat Perancis kepada Amerika Syarikat dan merupakan simbol sejagat kebebasan dan demokrasi. Masih teringat perasaan gembira dan teruja di saat melihat patung yang ketinggian kira-kira 93m ini ," Benarkah aku di New York city? Betulkah patung ini yang aku selalu lihat di kaca-kaca television?". Menaiki cruise sambil melihat pemandangan keseluruhan kotaraya New York adalah pengalaman menarik yang tidak dapat dilupakan.

    Bukan itu sahaja, kami juga berpeluang untuk ke salah satu tempat yang popular di New york yang diberi nama Central Park. Pernahkah anda melihat taman itu dalam peta? Ia adalah amat besar, saiz 1.317 batu persegi dengan 250 ekar rumput, 24,000 pokok, 150 ekar tasik dan sungai dan 80 ekar hutan. Kami menikmati udara segar serta menghayati pemandangan taman itu yang diselaputi salji serta mengambil gambar sebanyak mungkin untuk simpanan memori kami ketika di bandar New York bersama.


    Kami juga berpeluang melawat destinasi membeli belah terkenal dia New York City, ianya dinamakan Soho yang kini boleh dikatakan destinasi membeli-belah utama di bandar ini, yang menawarkan segala-galanya daripada jenama fesyen kultus (Acne, Alexander Wang, RAG & Bone, Phillip Lim) kepada kegemaran arus perdana (J. Crew, itu Lewi) dan fesyen segera (Zara, H & M, Topshop) tidak lupa jenama  mewah (Burberry, Chanel, Prada). Peminat2 reka-bentuk berduyun-duyun di sini untuk kegemaran antarabangsa (Alessi, Muji, Taschen) dan perabot kedua-dua tinggi (BoConcept, Reka Bentuk Dalam Reach) dan tidak begitu tinggi (CB2, Bilik &). Terdapat juga permata oddball di rumah pusat perdagangan campuran Cina Pearl River yang juga New York klasik, Rekabentuk Store Moma yang berbentuk seperti poket muzium tengah bandar yang terkenal, dan The Store Evolution mempunyai sifat ingin tahu yang semula jadi seperti blowfish dipelihara dan fosil hiasan. Kebanyakkan pengunjung yang membeli belah ke kawasan inilah peminat fesyen dan fashionista. Hanya melihat dari segi pemakaian mereka, kita dapat memberi andaian bahawa mereka adalah seorang yang mengikuti trend semasa. 



    The Market NYC boleh di katakan seperti Central Market Malaysia, bagaimana pun, keadaan dan barang-barang di jual ada ciri-cirinya yang tersendiri. Kebanyakkan barang yang dijual adalah "handmade" artis tempatan serta hasil seni yang tersendiri. Kami tidak dibenarkan mengambil gambar di dalam kedai tersebut namun perjalanan kami serta pengalaman kami sangat bermakna.

    Fashion week Runway and backstage moment

    Persembahan fesyen yang ditunggu-tunggukan. Bukan mudah untuk diberikan peluang orang yang terawal untuk memperlihatkan peragaan koleksi fesyen "fall/winter" 2014. Tetamu-tetamu yang hadir bukanlah orang yang sebarangan. Kebanyakkan mereka adalah pereka fesyen, selebriti, peminat pakaian rekaan, media serta fashionista-fashionista. (OH.  MY . GOD!) 
    Bukan itu sahaja, sepanjang minggu fesyen ini serta trip ini, kami berkesempatan untuk berjumpa dengan model-model rasmi Maybeline New York serta beramah mesra bersama mereka. Mereka tidak kekok untuk melayan kami serta bergambar. Secara jujur saya katakan, mereka bagaikan patung yang keluar dari suatu gambar. Bagaimana anda melihat mereka di poster-poster Maybelline serata dunia, begitulah rupa mereka yang sebenar apabila berhadapan dengan mereka. Kegembiraan kami tidak berhenti sebegitu sahaja, kami juga dijemput untuk melihat persiapan belakang pentas sebelum persembahan fesyen bermula.

    Capture the Backstage moment

    Hari dimulakan dengan rasa teruja ke "Fashion show" mahupun di agenda belakang pentas.
    Kami diberi peluang untuk melihat sendiri persiapan model model professional Runway ini serta menemu duga "makeup artist" yang bertanggungjawab merias dan mencipta "makeup look" untuk trend musim luruh / salji ini. Kami berkesempatan bertanyakan kepada makeup artis mengenai makeup barangan Maybelline yang telah digunakan dalam setiap  persembahan fesyen. Diantaranya adalah 'Lipstik Sensational' dalam series warna 'Nude', Mascara Rocket, Krim pembayang mata 'Color Tatoo' dalam warna 'Bad to Bronze serta Tough as Taupe' dan banyak lagi. Kebanyakkan produk yang digunakan adalah berasaskan warna neutral. Ini adalah bertujuan untuk menaikkan seri wajah model tanpa warna yang keterlaluan untuk memperagakan kecantikkan baju yang digayakan.  Walaubagaimanapun, setap 'fesyen show' mempunyai gaya dan tema yang tersendiri.
    Persembahan fesyen yang dihadiri oleh kami  adalah Peter Pilotto, Lacoste serta Giulietta. Setiap persembahan mengandungi keunikan reka design yang tersendiri. Dalam cara mekap Peter Pilotto dan Lacoste, mereka menggunakan tema "nude" dengan mengoles bibir model dengan warna kulit serta warna yang digunakan untuk merias mata model hanyalah warna cokelat lembut dan maskara untuk memberikan bulu mata yang dramatik. 




    Terdapat satu teknik yang menarik perhatian saya dalam cara mekap untuk persembahan fesyen Lacoste di mana Mekap artis telah menggunakan pelembap bibir "Dr Rescue" sebagai gantian pembayang mata. Pertama kali saya melihat pelembap bibir di letakkan di kelopak mata. Walaubagaimanapun, hasilnya amat menakjubkan. Kelompak mata mereka kelihatan lebih bermaya dan menyerikan lagi seri wajah semula jadi model . 



    Manakala untuk mekap Giuletta, inspirasi mekap diambil dari cerita dongeng "Snow white" dengan mencipta kanvas muka yang sangat cantk dan licin serta menyerikan bibir dengan warna lipstik merah gelap untuk menambahkan elemen klasik dan elegan. Bukan itu sahaja, bulu kening juga memainkan peranan yang penting dengan menebalkan serta membentuk bagi memberi kekemasan yang natural pada seri muka model.





    Tidak dinafikan bahawa pengalaman berjumpa dengan mekap artis bagi persembahan fesyen New York sangat berharga bagi saya. Bukan mudah untuk mengetahui tips-tips dan teknik mekap professional mekap artis antarabangsa. Kebanyakkan mereka yang mengatur langkah trend mekap untuk tahun-tahun seterusnya dalam bidang kecantikkan dan fesyen. Ini adalah  pengalaman yang menakjubkan dan tidak dapat saya lupakan.








    Maybelline Lab Visit

    Lawatan ke Labotari Maybelline adalah salah satu destinasi yang ditunggu-tunggu. Bukan mudah untuk melawat pusat kajian Maybelline salah satu jenama mekap yang terkemuka di dunia di mana keajaiban kosmetik berlaku.  Pada mulanya kami agak risau jika tidak dapat melawat Labotari ini oleh kerana salji yang turun agak tebal pada malam sebelumnya itu. Nasib baik pada keesokkan harinya jalan raya dan lebuhraya tidak diselaputi salji sepenuhnya dan kereta tidak mempunyai sebarang masalah untuk ke destinati dituju.




    Kedatangan kami di sambut mesra oleh pihak Maybelline New York serta staf-staf labotari. Mereka memberi penjelasan yang jelas tentang produk -produk kosmetik yang di formulasikan serta prosuder -prosedur  untuk mencipta sesuatu produk.  Bukan mudah untuk mencipta kosmetik lebih-lebih lagi bahan untuk diletakkan ke atas kulit muka. Bahan-bahan mineral dan semulajadi diperlukan untuk mencipta produk yang terbaik untuk menyerikan lagi kecantikkan wanita.  Kami jugak diperlihatkan bagaimana sebatang lipstick dibuat dari mula cecair sehingga terbentuknya sebatang lipstik. 
    Bukan itu sahaja, kami juga mempelajari tentang produk terbaik Maybelline iaitu maskara. Formula maskara Maybelline sangatlah unik dan maskara -maskara yang terdapat di negara kita, Malaysia adalah dirumus khas untuk pengguna Asia diselaraskan dengan cuaca panas dan mendap kita.  




    Mungkin anda tak pernah melihat bagaimana Mascara serta produk-produk Maybelline zaman dahulu, revolusi produk Maybelline. Produk pertama dari Maybelline adalah maskara. Oleh itu, jika anda perasan, Maskara-maskara Maybelline adalah produk yang terbaik di seluruh negara, bukan sahaja popular di Malaysia, malah popular di United States dan lain-lain.

The cut is, shorter at the back and longer at the front part with a touch of hair bang to cover up my big fore head! he he.  by the way, my best friends and I have the same the blouse in the picture but in different color. This blouse was purchased in last year's Ramadhan. This year, we bought a same pattern of bag for Raya. Yes, every year we would buy the same thing together. We didn't plan to buy the same item together but it happened. we have the same taste, we like the same item, reasonable price, zappppp! we bought it together. done! hehe.  Hopefully, we won't get married with the same guy. haha. okay! muah muah to : Lily and Shaza.

    Guardian Award Result 2014

    Guardian Award. If you have following my blog, you would know that I have mentioned on Guardian Award events and so on. Every year, Guardian is doing this special award event to give special token appreciation to them by winning the award chosen by the public. 

    Previously, they were only had the customer's choice award but in this year they include one special awar which is TEENS CHOICE AWARDS to define teenagers' choice in shopping power in Guardian. 

    How does this work?
    Customers need to buy at least RM 20 to entitle entering this contest. A form with all the nominees was given out to them and all they need is to fill up the form, guess the answer and submit the form together with receipt. There is also an online submission for wider accessibility. 

    Grand prize is RM 10,000 Guardian voucher. 

    Meanwhile, for the Teens Choice Award, they have special requirement, wheres they can enter the contest without buying anything and no receipt required to participate the contest. All they need is filling up the form and vote for their choices. Prizes for the Teens choice award are mainly video games and all the hi-tech gadgets up to their current interest standard.
